I have a quick second to post a few pictures of Peyton. It has been a rough couple of weeks trying to figure out why we could not get Peyton's jaundiced under control. We are now working with a doctor down at Texas Children's Hospital and hopefully this will all be resolved in the next couple of weeks. Please keep us in your prayers during this time. On a brighter note...we are enjoying every minute with Peyton! Aubrey is being a GREAT big sis and helping mommy out every day. WE NEED A BIGGER TABLE!

Aubrey has decided this week that her babies (stuffed animals) all need a place at the table when we eat. This leaves no room for Jerrod and I. We usually have to eat with one of her babies in our lap or some times we can convince her to let them sit on the table.While I was getting dinner ready last night, I guess she decided Pooh Bear wanted honey for dinner. This is what we found at the table when we went to sit down. Note to self - put honey up on higher shelf so she can't reach it. Can you just image what a mess I would have if she actually tried to feed it to him!!

I enjoyed a very low key Mother's Day with my family. It was nice to relax and not have any plans!

ZOO DAY!

I took Aubrey to the zoo this past Monday and we had so much fun. She is at a great age to really enjoy everything that they had to offer. She even carried around her stuff giraffe from home the entire time. As you can see from the pictures, it was a giraffe inspired day!We ended the day on the train. What fun!

Sorry no pictures this week. We went to Pump it Up for our play date but Aubrey would not get in any of the bouncy houses. She just wanted to stay by my side and cheer Reid on. Go Reid Go is what she said the entire time. We are going to the zoo on Monday so check back and hopefully I will have some good pictures to post!

We had a great Easter with our family at the lake. Aubrey looked so cute in her dress but of course she didn't want to have her hair done that day OR smile in any pictures!!

CHURCH EASTER EGG HUNT

We went to our church Easter egg hunt on Saturday and Aubrey had a blast. We arrived on time and of course the hunt didn't start until 45 minutes later. I was very proud of how patiently Aubrey waited...she doesn't get that from her parents!!

Our neighborhood had an Easter Egg hunt last Saturday, unfortunately we were a little late to arrive and missed out on hunting Easter Eggs. We will not make that mistake this weekend at our church Easter Egg hunt!! Thank goodness she is too young to understand so she was happy with a sprinkled doughnut.

Old MacDonald's Farm

We met Lisa and Reid at Old MacDonald's Farm this week. The place was not really what we had expected but the kids had fun together. Aubrey spent the rest of the day telling everyone that the mama cow had a boo boo (she had just been spade so she was laying down in her pen).

It's still windy and cold outside so we decided to do some arts and crafts today. She was very intense while she was painting....maybe she will be an artist one day!

On our way to church one morning. Aubrey looks so happy here and then the tears start once we pull into the parking lot. She is starting to finally get use to Sunday school but it has taken us almost 4 months to get there!!

We finally got to see the twins again. It had been almost a month since they were born and I had seen them in the hospital. They are both such good babies and Missy and Jaren are loving every minute of parenthood. Sorry no pictures of Kylar, I held Aidyn the whole time!Here is Aidyn getting to know Peyton!!

I haven't posted anything in awhile....OK it's been months!! We moved into our new house over Thanksgiving and we are loving it. I am still trying to get a few last minute touches done before baby number 2 arrives but for the most part the house is decorated.

Aubrey is doing great. It is amazing how much she grows and becomes this little person every day. I am really enjoying staying home with her full time and getting to spend some quality one on one time before Peyton arrives. Here are some recent pictures of her.

In this short amount of time they have almost completely framed the house! Hopefully they will continue working at this pace and we will be in our new home before we know it. Here is a picture of the side and back of the house.

Finally after 6 weeks of waiting, our lot has been cleared! Our new neighbors have been nice enough to send us updates and pictures as big events with the construction happen. The weather is supposed to be good the next couple of days so hopefully they can get everything ready to pour the slab.

CHILDREN'S MUSEUM

I met Melissa and Carter at the Children's Museum last week. What an amazing place!! The kids had a great time but it was very crowded. We are going to plan another trip back once all the kids are back in school.

FOURTH OF JULY

We spent the 4th at the Lake. Friday night we all watched the boom boom's (fireworks), Aubrey made it through the entire show even though she wasn't too excited about the bright lights and noise. The next day the girls entered the 4th of July parade. The dad's were nice enough to pull the wagon the entire time while Kalyn and I followed behind in the golf cart. Next year we are going to spend a little more time on the decorations and not do them 30 minutes before!!

R.I.P. DIDDY

We lost our precious puppy Bailee July 2nd 2009. He had been sick for a few days and by the time we figured out what was wrong and took him into surgery, his little heart gave out. He was a wonderful addition to our family and is missed greatly.

TIME FLIES

WOW…where has the time gone? Since my last post, we put our house on the market and it sold the first day!! Jerrod and I frantically started looking for resale homes but could not find anything that we were in love with. We decided that the best option for us was to build a house. We bought a lot in Spring Trails and are building a beautiful home. I could not be happier with our decision! The neighborhood has an elementary school close by and most of the families in our section are young with young kids. Our home is projected to be ready in December. Keep your fingers crossed that it is early December so we can get a Christmas tree up for Aubrey!! Here is a picture of our lot.

We were suppose to spend our first family vacation at SeaWorld last weekend but with all the hype of the Swine flu we decided not to go. Instead we spent the weekend at the lake. Aubrey had fun swimming in the pool and riding on her new big wheel!
